How was (or wasn't) innovation time meaningful to you? Why?
Innovation time, for me, was kind of frustrating sometimes. I'm a very indecisive person, and having so many options of what I could do overwhelmed me. Once I figured out what is was that I wanted to do, however; I got very involved and excited to do more work on it. What was the most meaningful part of your innovation work? I've always been interested in the neurological aspect of the brain and how it worked. The project I did helped me explore what I'm interested in doing as a job. Before I got started on this, I had no idea what the executive functions of the brain were, and now I'm seriously considering psychology and neurology as a career path.

Last week I decided how I would organize my information for my notes on my presentation. I also know now that I will only be using information from the experiment I found a couple weeks ago for my research. I'm hoping to finish my research within the next two - three weeks. After that the presentation and the TED talk should be fairly quick and easy to put together and finish.
This week I found an experiment conducted to explore how the ability to perform executive functions changes with children with autism and ADHD compared to normally functioning kids. I looked over the abstract of the experiment and took notes on it. I'm planning on going over the entire experiment next week and deciding if I want to use another resource or just use this experiment. I'm thinking it might be best to just stick with this because its close to the end of the year, and because the report is extensive. I'm planning on putting everything I learn into a presentation, but I would be open to other ways to present what I've learned.
I was (finally) there for Innovation Day this week and I finally was able to do some research on EFD. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get as far as I had hoped, because I found a website that had a very informative article on it, but I had to make an account to see the full thing I thought. When I had made the account, it turned out I had to pay nearly $40 to see their research on Executive Function Disorder, so the only thing I was able to read from the article was an Abstract outlinign their research process and what exactly they researched.
It seems there's been quite a bit of research condicted on autistic and special education kids with EFD, so I thought about maybe just researching how it affects those kids, but I'm not sure I was to do that. Next week I plan on researching further into autistic kids with EFD to see if I'm interested in taking my research that direction, and I also plan on brainstorming ways to present my findings when I am done with my final project. I (again) was absent for Innovation Day this past week, but my plan for this coming week is still to research more on EFD to try to narrow the topic of my research more. I still don't quite know how I am going to present what I have learned.

I was not here for Innovation Day this past week, but I have decided to change my Innovation project form painting to researching disorders. Mainly; Executive Function Disorder, which is a disorder associated to ADHD. However, researching an entire disorder is a pretty wide range of things, so this coming week I will be doing a bit more research to try to narrow down my topic. I have not decided how I am going to present what I have learned yet.
I have changed my idea from writing a story, to learning how to paint. I have actually been wanting to learn how to paint for a while, but (1) I don't have a place in my houseI have not stopped thinking about my innovation project, but i have not come up with any ideas. I have decided what I'm writing. I may continue a story I began a couple years ago. I wrote it for a language arts projects back in seventh or eighth grade. It was for a short story project. I don't really remember writing it, but i think i pretty much remmeebvr what i wanted to write about. I spent only about twenty minutes on it, so there's probably a lot to edit.
